User Guidelines for The Big Time!

Goals of Blog

The Big Time's goal is to provide job and career-related information for anyone looking for their first job or advancing their career. So if you're a job seeker, recent college grad, retiree looking for a new career, you'll find interesting workforce and life trend stats, as well as insightful postings aimed to help you move ahead and make it to the big time. Recruiters from across the country, as well as executive Spherion employees including our CEO Roy Krause, will be blogging about the various issues that are important to you in all stages of your career.

Comment Guidelines

Building relationships with you is our number one goal; therefore your participation is not only encouraged but essential to making this blog a vibrant community. Feel free to engage our bloggers, challenge our bloggers and ask questions. Tell us what you are thinking! Frequent and insightful comments are welcomed. It is our hope that with your valuable input, a variety of Spherion bloggers adding their .02 and our constant monitoring of the blogosphere that we're bound to discuss a bunch of different and interesting topics.

To ensure that all The Big Time participants stay on topic, and that content is appropriate, we will be moderating comments and reserve the right to filter any comments that appear to be off topic, self promotional, lewd or inflammatory.

This blog is not the forum for posting resumes or finding/listing jobs. It's also not the place for addressing customer service or sales questions. Spherion offers job seekers and employers useful ways to display and view resumes with accompanying credentials for thousands of employers to see, thus, we ask that you use this route to help us promote you and your skills or your company -- not the comment section of The Big Time. We have provided several links below if you have any business-related inquires.

Now the "small-print" items, these are guidelines after all. We promise this section won't be too painful. First, this blog is run by Spherion, meaning the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy found on our public Web site, www.spherion.com, also apply to The Big Time.

Comment Response Guidelines

Spherion will have a number of different bloggers, all of which hold various positions within the Company. We encourage all of our bloggers to quickly respond to comments. Bloggers will make every effort to respond to comments in a timely manner (usually within 24 hours M-F). However, please understand that situations may arise that prevent them from responding within our desired response time as they have other responsibilities. Please be patient if you do not receive a response within the desired timeframe, this does not reflect our continued interest and dedication to provide quick responses to each post.
